Eligibility
    BPT(4 Years + 1 Year Internship)
  • Must be over 17 years of age as of the current academic year-end.
  • Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and any one of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology or Biology.
  • NEET Appearance Mandatory.
    MPT(2 years)
  • Eligible candidates for this program must have successfully completed the BPT program from a recognized university.

Scope of Faculty of Physiotherapy and Career Options


The Bachelor of Physiotherapy program enables graduates and undergraduates to take up administrative, management or entrepreneurial roles in the following sectors,

  • Prescribing remedial exercises
  • Muscle strength evaluation & quantification
  • Physical treatment by electrotherapy modalities like diathermy, ultrasonic therapy, cryotherapy, whirlpool therapy, trans-electric muscle stimulation, hydro collator, contrast bath, infra-red therapy, ultraviolet therapy, etc.,
  • Therapeutic exercises by automated machines.
  • Evaluate balance in neurologically affected patients.
  • Apply manual therapy, manipulation of soft tissue techniques, mobilization, etc.
  • Gait and wheelchair training with or without ambulatory aids.
  • In-home evaluation aid to make the environment barrier-free and accessible.
  • Help improve the status of patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction.
